The way the lemon juice cayenne pepper diet works is that the individual eats or drinks nothing except the pepper juice for a period of time. This triggers a detoxifying action and cleanses the body of bad toxins and waste. This also helps the metabolism to speed up therefore boosting the body as the person tries to get into shape.

Vitamin C helps protect the body from sickness and diseases and strengthens the immune system.
Cayenne pepper is also known to have many health benefits. Cayenne pepper is also known as chili pepper or hot pepper. Pepper is also known to have metabolic properties in that it helps increase and boost the metabolism. It can also help to lower hypertension levels and even help in controlling appetites. Cayenne pepper is also an anti-oxidant which also helps in strengthening the immune system by fighting the free radicals that are present in the body.
Cayenne pepper also helps in better blood flow because it has anti-coagulating properties which prevent clots in forming in the blood. It also has healing powers due to active ingredients called capsicum and capsaicin. Those ingredients help by releasing heat that acts on the pain in the joints and muscles.
The last ingredient is maple syrup, a sweetener by nature without the over-processed sugar. It also consists of many vitamins and minerals which gives more benefits to the body. It also adds to the taste of the pepper juice so that it will be more enjoyable to drink.
Lemon and cayenne pepper juice is easy to make. All you need are two tablespoons of freshly squeezed juice from lemon or lime, another two tablespoons of real maple syrup, add to that the amount of cayenne pepper according to your taste, mix it in 8 ounces of water and shake well. You can drink this for two weeks and even longer and you will soon feel the difference in your body. Just remember that the juice cayenne pepper diet is not for everyone, so check with your doctor first.
